Cancer-Related Fatigue App Earns NHS Approval

August 7, 2019

The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) has given the thumbs up for a mobile app for cancer-related fatigue (CRF) and is making it available at no cost.

The app, Untire, is designed to reduce CRF and to explain the common cancer side effect to patients. It features an online support community, exercises to increase energy levels, weekly progress reports and tips for making lifestyle improvements.

Untire also allows CRF patients to invite another person through the app, such as a friend, colleague or family member, to share the experience and offer support.
