France Issues EU’s First Cybersecurity Guidelines

France’s National Agency for Safety of Medicines and Health Products released new cybersecurity recommendations for medical devices designed to minimize the risk of cyberattacks.

The agency is urging manufacturers to take the necessary precautions to minimize risk, prevent malicious attacks on their devices and keep data from being compromised.

The guidelines discuss best practices, guidelines and appropriate standards for cybersecurity from initial development to commercialization and post-market monitoring.
