Restoration Robotics Gains European Approval for Hair Restoration System

San Jose, California devicemaker Restoration Robotics has earned the CE Mark for its Artas iX robotic hair restoration device, which clears the product in Europe for hair implantation.

The device combines artificial intelligence technology with robotics to help surgeons perform hair restoration procedures, enabling accurate and repeatable restorations.

The three-camera system automates parts of hair transplantation procedures, using AI to analyze and select grafts from the donor area with no risk of scarring.
