Fitbit to Work With Singapore to Promote Public Health

Fitbit and Singapore’s Health Promotion Board have teamed up for a program to promote public health through behavioral changes using Fitbit’s wearable devices.

The initiative, named Live Healthy SG, was designed by the devicemaker specifically for Singapore and integrates its digital health platform and a set of wearable devices into a countrywide program.

The devices will motivate participants to “adopt healthier habits and achieve better outcomes in the areas of physical activity, sleep, nutrition and emotional wellbeing,” the company said.
