Cordis’ Vascular Closure Device Receives CE Mark

Cordis has obtained the CE Mark for its Mynx Control vascular closure device (VCD), a product used in patients who have undergone diagnostic or interventional vascular procedures.

The device is designed to achieve hemostasis and ambulation in patients at a faster rate, using active extravascular sealing and full resorbability into a new delivery system to close femoral arterial access sites.

The system automates multiple procedure steps and provides visual confirmation of the device’s positioning for proper sealant deployment.
