Glenmark Recalls Two Antifungals
September 3, 2019
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals recalled more than 31,000 tubes of the antifungal treatments clotrimazole and betamethasone dipropionate cream over complaints that the creams were too liquid in texture.
Last month, Glenmark recalled tubes of mometasone furoate cream, used as a skin treatment and to prevent hay fever attacks, because the consistency was too gritty.
The consistency issues were attributed to temperature control problems in the plant where the creams were manufactured.
