Federal Judge Enters Consent Decree for Basic Reset and Biogenyx

A Tennessee federal judge issued a consent decree, ordering distributors Basic Reset and Biogenyx to stop distributing their drugs, dietary supplements and devices.

The decree prohibits the two from receiving, labeling, holding, or distributing dietary supplements, drugs or devices at or from their facility until they take certain steps to ensure that the products comply with the law.

The FDA said that it had not approved any product that Basic Reset and Biogenyx distributed and that its dietary supplements products were adulterated and misbranded because the firms claimed that they could treat or prevent disease.
