Panacea Medical Earns CE Mark for Two Devices

Indian devicemaker Panacea Medical Technologies has received the CE Mark for its Siddharth II 6MV linear accelerator and its Lilac mammography unit.

The Siddharth II can deliver cancer treatments with sub-millimeter accuracy. The unit’s ring gantry design “enables it to be installed in any bunker with minimal modification,” the company said.

Lilac’s wide-angle tomography offers high-resolution images at low radiation doses, allowing clinicians to  improve diagnoses and care for patients.
