Clever Culture Systems has earned the CE Mark for its automated plate assessment system (APAS) Independence, a technology platform used to automate the screening and interpretation of culture plates.

The device examines and organizes agar plates, eliminating the need for their individual assessment by a microbiologist for clinically significant colonies of bacteria.

The APAS Independence allows faster delivery of patient results by removing the need for microbiologists to process many negative plates themselves.
