Proscia’s Digital Pathology System Obtains CE Mark

Software developer Proscia has gained the CE Mark for its Concentriq Dx software for use in primary diagnosis of diseases.

Pathologists can use the software to make primary diagnoses of cancers and other diseases using digitized images of tissue biopsies.

The software integrates with any scanner or laboratory information system and comes with cloud and on-site deployment options for laboratories moving towards image-centric digital pathology, the company said.

“By centering the practice of pathology around images instead of physical glass slides, Concentriq Dx automates time consuming and error-prone manual tasks and streamlines access to specialized expertise,” the company said.
