Conversion Labs Files 510(k) for Hair Regrowth Cap

Conversion Labs has submitted its 510(k) application for the Shapiro MD Laser Cap system, a portable device intended to regrow hair.

The wearable laser cap features low-level laser therapy technology to treat hair loss and spur hair growth. It uses 272 laser diodes for full scalp coverage and consistent follicle stimulation.

The company claims the treatment takes seven minutes every other day and can be administered using either the cap provided or a personal hat.
