Boston Scientific Warns of AngioJet Ultra Consoles Missing Manuals

November 19, 2019

Some AngioJet Ultra consoles were shipped without their required operators’ manuals,  Boston Scientific said in an urgent field safety notice.

The device, which is designed to be used during percutaneous coronary interventions, require the use of an operator manual during procedures, and the lack of one could cause a delay, the company said.

The company stressed that its field safety notice is not a recall, and said no adverse health consequences have been reported for AngioJet Ultras that didn’t come with a manual.
