EmCyte’s Concentrating System Cleared for Gathering Autologous Adipose Tissue

EmCyte ’s Progenikine concentrating system was granted 510(k) clearance from the FDA for all medical procedures involving the harvesting and transferring of autologous adipose tissue.

The point-of-care device is used to extract and prepare adipose samples, and it can completely remove oil contaminants and waste from the sample while retaining its concentration.

The system uses “powerful regenerative bioactive substances to work on transferred tissue without hindering influences,” the company said.
