Nanomix’s POC Diagnostic for Serious Infections Gains CE Mark

Nanomix has received the CE Mark for its S1 Assay, a point-of-care diagnostic panel used to detect and quantify serious infections.

The single-use diagnostic test, which is used with the company’s handheld eLab analyzer, detects and quantifies lactate, procalcitonin and C-reactive protein from human plasma samples.

The panel is designed to quickly detect life-threatening infections like sepsis and bacteremia when time is of the essence for the patient. The tests take approximately 11 minutes.
