OrthoGrid’s Fluoroscopic Distortion Correction Software Cleared

OrthoGrid received 510(k) clearance for its PhantomMSK Trauma application, clearing the fluoroscopic distortion-revealing surgical software for orthopedic trauma procedures.

The software platform can be used with all devices to assist in implant, instrument and anatomic alignments that use fluoroscopic imaging, improving the accuracy of surgery by correcting fluoroscopic distortion caused by electromagnetic forces.

The software analyzes fluoroscopic images produced by a traditional or digital C-arm during surgery and requires minimal manual input from the surgeon.
