Czech Drugmaker Gets Non-Compliance Letter for Serious Deficiencies

A drugmaker in the Czech Republic was listed on the EudraGMDP inspection database for serious deficiencies at its Prague facility including the presence of mold and dead insects.

Vakos Xt was flagged for 25 deficiencies during an inspection by Czech regulatory officials, including the improper cleaning of storage rooms, walls and ceilings, and the presence of dead insects in production room light covers.

The company was cited for a single critical deficiency after mold was discovered in several locations in the facility’s washing room.
