Polyganics Nabs CE Mark for Dural Sealant Patch

Polyganics has obtained the CE Mark for its Liqoseal dural sealant patch, a device cleared for use in dural closure, a routine surgical step in neurosurgery.

The device is used as an adjunct to standard dural closure methods, including suturing, to create a watertight closure that prevents cerebrospinal fluid leakage.

The sealant patch’s approval was based on trial data that showed no leakages, clinically significant swellings or device-related adverse events in three-month follow-up results.
