STRATA Gains 510(k) Clearance for XTRAC Momentum Laser Platform

STRATA Skin Sciences was granted 510(k) clearance for its XTRAC Momentum excimer laser system, Model AL10000 platform.

The laser delivers a targeted beam of UVB light and is cleared to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, atopic dermatitis and leukoderma. The different platforms, including Ultra, Velocity and Momentum, offer clinical providers functionality and usability to support the thousands of domestic and international devices.

The new platform includes and an increased power range, a new short-hair tip, improving ease of use in difficult-to-treat scalp psoriasis, and an enhanced interface and database for managing patient information.
