Biotronik Names David Hayes as Chief Medical Officer

German device manufacturer Biotronik has named David Hayes as its new chief medical officer.

Hayes, a cardiologist whose career spans more than four decades, previously served as the Mayo Clinic Care Network’s medical director. In his new role, he will manage the company’s development of cardiovascular treatments.

Biotronik develops equipment for diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm problems and vascular intervention.
