Fujifilm Grabs CE Mark for AI-Based Colonic Polyps Detection Tech

Fujifilm has received CE Mark certification for its AI-based technology for detecting colonic polyps during colonoscopy procedures.

The CAD EYE system is designed for use with the company’s ELUXEO 7000 endoscopy system, and the accompanying software has also earned the CE Mark.

The AI technology was trained with “an immense amount of clinical images using Fujifilm endoscopy systems” to spot colonic polyps, the company said.
