Keystone Heart Earns CE Mark for CEP Device

Keystone Heart received CE Mark certification for its TriGUARD 3 product, a cerebral embolic protection (CEP) device that deflects embolic debris during transcatheter heart procedures.

The device keeps embolic debris from reaching the brain during transcatheter heart procedures like transcatheter aortic valve implantation.

The device is “the only CE Marked product designed to cover and protect all three major cerebral aortic arch vessels,” the company said.
