The device, which is intended to align and fixate osteotomies, arthrodesis and bone grafts, uses bone regeneration technology that combines mechanical strength and natural bone healing in a temporary implant.

The fixation system’s bio-integrative properties give surgeons “a more biologically friendly way to restore patient stability and mobility while leaving nothing permanent behind,” the company said.
