FDA Clears Behold.ai’s Collapsed Lung Radiology Algorithm

The FDA has granted Behold.ai 510(k) clearance for its Red Dot radiology triage algorithm that at alerts radiologists to collapsed lungs.

The “instant triage” algorithm warns radiologists when patients have the life-threatening condition as soon as the X-ray image is taken, the company said.

Behold.ai expects to launch the product in the U.S. later in the year.
