EchoNous Earns CE Mark for Cardiothoracic Assessment Device

EchoNous has received CE Mark certification for its Kosmos system, an AI-assisted device used for clinical assessments of the heart and lungs.

The platform is currently cleared to measure systolic heart function and comes with an  ultrasound imaging tool featuring embedded electrocardiogram (ECG) and digital auscultation, as well as a tablet with data security provisions.

The company said it will soon seek additional clearance for a set of algorithms that grade image quality, guide user technique and label the heart’s anatomy.
