Carbon Health Ships Home COVID-19 Tests to California Patients

Carbon Health announced that it is currently sending coronavirus diagnostics to sick patients in California who have been told to remain at home.

The at-home test, which received FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization, costs $167.50, the company said, noting it has plans to make them available nationwide after it clears regulatory hurdles.

The kits “should decrease the strain on overburdened clinics, as well as prevent non-infected people from exposing themselves to the virus,” the company said.
