Amgen and Adaptive Biotechnologies Partner on COVID-19 Therapeutic

Amgen and Adaptive Biotechnologies are collaborating to develop a therapeutic to either prevent or treat COVID-19 patients.

Adaptive will screen B cell receptors from individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 to select antibodies that neutralize the virus. Amgen will then develop and manufacture the antibodies.

The companies have begun the work and said they will work out the financial details in the coming weeks.
