FDA Clears Sectra’s Digital Imaging Module

Sectra has received FDA clearance for its Sectra Digital Pathology Module for primary diagnostics alongside Leica Biosystems’ AT2 DX digital whole slide scanner.

The module can display tissue sample images with different file formats, allowing pathologists to conduct pathology assessments without the need for a microscope.

The module gives pathologists instant access to current and historical images and related data as well as to digital tools for reviewing the images.
