Xerox, Vortran Medical Team Up to Produce Throw-Away Ventilators

Xerox and Vortran Medical have teamed up to manufacture disposable ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two companies are increasing production of Vortran’s GO2Vent ventilator and its APM-Plus airway pressure monitor for hospitals and emergency response units. They plan to ramp up monthly production from approximately 40,000 in April to between 150,000 and 200,000 by June.

The partnership could produce up to a million ventilators in the coming months, Xerox said.
