Mullen Technologies Begins Producing Emergency Portable Ventilators

Mullen Technologies announced that it has begun manufacturing an emergency portable ventilator at its high-voltage battery R&D center in Monrovia, Calif., in response to shortages faced by hospitals during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Mullen 8 device is a portable ventilator for emergency use when larger respirators are unavailable.

The portable device can be switched between six and 12 respirations per minute, and it can provide respiration for dozens of hours with a single charge, the company said.
