EMA Creates COVID-19 Task Force to Coordinate Vaccines, Therapeutics

The European Medicines Agency has created a COVID-19 task force to coordinate the development of vaccines and therapeutics in the EU in response to the pandemic.

The independent expert group will identify promising candidates for the EMA’s Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP).

It will also offer scientific support to developers to facilitate clinical trials in the EU for the most promising medicines.
