Elekta Earns CE Mark for Radiation-Image Storage System

Elekta’s ProKnow software received CE mark certification in Europe as a cloud-based retrieval and storage system for radiation therapy departments.

The software allows radiation departments to securely upload large amounts of imaging and treatment data to the cloud for storage and evaluation. The system doesn’t require additional hardware, just web access.

Elekta received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for the software in January.
