FDA Grants Breast Screening Clearance for Eizo Monitor

The FDA has cleared Eizo’s RadiForce RX1270 medical monitor for use in digital breast tomosynthesis and digital mammography.

The high-resolution monitor is able to distinguish small structures in breast tissue.

The compact 12-megapixel screen takes up less space than a conventional two-monitor arrangement using 5-megapixel monitors side by side.
