Merck CEO To Head New Jersey COVID-19 Commission

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy named Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier as chairman of the state’s COVID-19 Restart and Recover Commission.

The 21-member commission will advise the governor on the timing and preparation for the state’s recovery from COVID-19 shutdowns.

Merck is committed to helping New Jersey recover from COVID-19, Frazier said, noting that the company is headquartered in the state.
