Rheonix Nabs Emergency Use Authorization for COVID-19 Assay

Rheonix received an Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA for its Rheonix COVID-19TM MDx Assay.

The test is designed for use on the company’s Encompass MDx workstation. It requires no technician interaction after samples are loaded into the workstation. The test will enable small- and medium-throughput labs to deliver same-day COVID-19 test results.

Rheonix said it has begun shipping test kits and workstations to local and regional hospitals.
