Pixee’s Orthopedic Navigation System Gains CE Mark for Knee Surgery

Pixee Medical received a CE mark for its Knee+, an orthopedic navigation system that uses augmented reality to assist in total knee arthroplasties.

The navigation system uses Vuzix’s M400 Smart Glasses to track implants and instruments during surgery.

Pixee also plans to seek certification for the augmented reality system for use in shoulder surgery, according to Sébastien Henry, the company’s founder.
