FDA Warns Bedfont Scientific for Quality System Failures

The FDA has hit UK-based devicemaker Bedfont Scientific with a warning letter for quality failures and the handling of quality data.

The agency found no consistency in how the tickets created in response to customer complaints were categorized, so the firm was not using its ticket system to identify recurring issues.

The firm’s quality manager said the company would create more specific ticket categories and train employees to use them.
