FDA Clears Zebra Medical’s Vertebral Compression Fractures AI

Zebra Medical has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Vertebral Compression Fractures (VCF) artificial intelligence (AI) technology for identifying potential compression fractures.

The product automatically detects signs of potential compression fractures in the spine that can  cause severe pain, loss of height and deformity.

The technology enables clinicians to identify and treat patients at risk of osteoporosis to help prevent fractures.
