PharmaJet and Abnova Team Up on Needle-Free COVID-19 Vaccine

PharmaJet and Abnova are partnering to develop a COVID-19 vaccine that is administered without a needle.

PharmaJet’s needle-free injection system delivers vaccines using a thin stream of fluid to penetrate skin. The device will be used to deliver Abnova’s candidate mRNA vaccine.

PharmaJet CEO Chris Cappello said the system has been shown to improve the immune response to vaccines and is easy to administer in wide-scale immunization settings.
