Adagio Medical Gets CE Mark for Cryoablation System

Adagio Medical’s intelligent Continuous Lesion Ablation System (iCLAS) has received CE mark certification for endocardial treatment of paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.

The catheter system uses ultralow-temperature cryoablation and diagnostic capabilities to create lesions with only one transseptal puncture.

The system features interchangeable surgical probes that don’t require removal of a catheter, allowing for different shapes and sizes of ablation.
