Inovio to Test COVID-19 Vaccine Candidate in South Korea

Inovio will be testing its COVID-19 vaccine candidate, INO-4800, in a phase 1/2 clinical trial in South Korea.

The trial will assess the safety, tolerability and immunogenicity of the vaccine in 40 adults ages 19 to 20 years old. It is being conducted in collaboration with the International Vaccine Institute and Seoul National University Hospital.

This is the first COVID-19 vaccine trial in South Korea and is expected to begin later this month.
