Bausch + Lomb’s Disposable Contact Lenses Cleared

Bausch + Lomb’s Infuse daily silicone-hydrogel contact lenses have received 510(k) clearance from the FDA.

The daily, throw-away contact lenses use a silicone-hydrogel material, kalifilcon A, designed for patients who experience contact lens dryness.

According to the company, the lenses provide “breathability” along with high-definition optics.
