Microbix’s Quality Assessment Products for COVID-19 Tests Get CE Mark

Microbix Biosystems’ quality assessment products (QAPs) for COVID-19 real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests have attained the CE mark.

The products run alongside patient samples during COVID-19 testing to confirm that the test results are reliable — typically at a rate of one QAP per 100 tests.

Microbix said it will immediately begin providing the products to clinical laboratories across the European Union.
