DexCom’s Wearable Glucose Monitor Receives CE Mark

DexCom has received the CE mark for its Dexcom G6 continuous-glucose monitoring (CGM) device.

The 10-day sensor is worn on the back of a patient’s upper arm and continuously measures glucose levels, sending the data to a dedicated receiver or smart device.

The system features customizable alerts and alarms for low- and high-blood sugar events.
