FDA Clears 4WEB Medical’s Interbody Fusion Device

4WEB Medical has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Stand-Alone Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion Device.

The implant allows fixation screws to be placed directly into the spine’s vertebral body,  eliminating the need for supplemental fixation.

4WEB Medical said the product will be available in multiple footprints, angles and heights. The company plans to launch a stand-alone lateral lumbar implant this year.
