FDA Clears Venus Concept’s Laser Hair-Removal Device

Venus Concept has been granted 510(k) clearance by the FDA for its Venus Epileve laser-powered hair-removal device.

The portable, tabletop system can be used on all patient skin types, including tanned skin, the company said.

The laser device has two modes of operation, slide and pulse, and features a cooling system that increases patient comfort and safety.
