Miracor Medical’s PiCSO Impulse System Earns CE Mark

Miracor Medical has earned a CE mark certification for the latest version of its PiCSO Impulse catheter and console.

The system uses a catheter and balloon in conjunction with a patient monitor to treat anterior ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), a serious form of heart attack that involves blockage of a major artery.

The CE mark was supported by data from two clinical trials that showed the system provided a significant reduction in blockages.
