Balt’s Flow Diverting Stent Receives CE Mark

Balt has earned a CE Mark for its Silk Vista flow diverter stent for treatment of patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms.

The device redirects blood away from aneurysms, allowing them to heal and reducing the risk of rupture. The Silk Vista is a larger version of the company’s Silk Vista Baby stent introduced in 2018.

The flow diverter stent can be used in neurovascular vessels 3.5mm and larger and it is easily visible under angiography, the company said.
