Vela’s Automated COVID-19 Test Gains CE Mark

Vela Diagnostics has received a CE Mark certification for an automated version of its ViroKey SARS-CoV-2 real-time PCR test.

The automated test is optimized for use on the company’s Sentosa SX101 and SA201 instruments or on Thermo Fisher’s 7500 Fast Dx system.

Up to 48 tests can be conducted at the same time during a single 2-hour run, the company said.
