Norlase Gets CE Mark for Leaf Laser

Denmark-based Norlase has earned a CE mark for its Leaf laser for treatment of glaucoma and retinal diseases.

The device attaches to an existing microscope used during eye exams and is operated using a wireless tablet that includes an optional voice control feature. The Leaf’s fiberless design requires less maintenance than other laser devices, the company said.

The product received 510(k) clearance from the FDA in October 2019.
