Life Spine Gets FDA Clearance for Lumbar Spacer

Huntley, Ill.-based Life Spine has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its PLATEAU-A Ti spacer system for anterior lumbar interbody fusion procedures.

The system features a beveled edge that eases insertion of the implant and large open-graft windows for the containment of bone graft.

The implant is available in multiple sizes and heights to accommodate individual patient anatomies.
